The airbox is placed under a cover on the V-Rod models, where you would normally expect to find the tank on other motorcycles. Apart from the fact that changing the position of the fuel tank under the seat has significantly lowered the center of gravity of the Power Cruiser towards the asphalt, this construction provides room to equip the motorcycle with a new cover design and an optimized look.
Rick’s has deliberately named its airbox cover Streetfighter, representing raw power.
The standard display instruments fit into the available recesses. Additionally, lateral openings closed with steel mesh give the cover a real visual punch. In addition to the airbox cover and all mounting materials, the scope of delivery also includes a new cover over the air filter body with integrated air routing. Unlike other available airbox covers, the original lid of the air filter is reused, it does not have to be cut or removed.
