The development of multi-piece wheels is a revolution in the construction of custom bikes: Their filigree appearance, combined with robust operation, allow for a cost-effective change to different wheel widths. Rick’s well-known, high-quality forged-aluminum wheels are state-of-the-art: Manufactured according to the motorcycle standards and TÜV certified. The basis of all components is forged aluminum sheet material, which is milled by CNC machines into the right custom design. The round blanks for the rim rings are cold formed under high pressure, what is also known as “being forged”. The resulting material compaction has several advantages: No gaps in the material fiber flow, no pores or blowholes (air pockets) – as they occur in other manufacturing processes (such as casting) –, and high-surface quality in the polishing process.

With the material’s great strength, Rick’s wheels (15–21 inches) can also be used for unusual designs. Filigree designs are even possible up to a width of 12.5 inches. All rims are available in a raw, polished, or powder-coated finish.
