This Harley-Davidson Breakout from Rick’s Motorcycles has more to offer than just a black-grey paint, although this gives this custom bike a special touch, and most of the many parts are mainly made in-house. 

Latest at a second glance you will notice the wheels. Rick’s ‘Gimme Five’ in trendy bicolor finish are made from three parts and look, due to the screw wreath, especially filigree. If at the third glance you are still looking for the rear brake disc, you should look on the left side of the bike to find it. With Rick’s drive side brake system, the disc was relocated to the other side and now offers a clear view onto the design wheel on the other side.

The roots of Rick’s Motorcycles lie in making high-quality designer wheels for Harley-Davidson custom bikes, but by now no longer only wheels are made in Baden-Baden. Equally sought after custom parts are no less high-quality air filters, which are available in many different designs for nearly all Harley-Davidson models. Rick’s air filters use branded K&N filter elements; the machined parts are flow-optimized, which ensures an optimal throughput. All come, of course, with the necessary TÜV certificate, which enables legal use on German roads. On this Harley-Davidson Breakout the ‘Bandit’ design was used.

Have you had another look at the rear fender? It is a steel cover, which is also offered at Rick’s as a complete kit for all Breakout models (including Milwaukee-8 from model year 2018). If you look critically at the distance between tire and fender, please note that the rear can be lifted to a ride-friendly height easily and comfortably with an airride system.

Pegs, grips and the adjustable brake and clutch levers ae also from Rick’s Motorcycles, as well as the clutch cover from clear Makrolon, which gives a view onto the inside.

With this bike Rick’s has supplied a Breakout which not only gives pleasure when looking at it, but also when riding it!
